DR. SARAH MCDONALD
General & Cosmetic Dentist
Dr. Sarah McDonald studied biology at the University of Washington for her undergraduate degree before attending the University of Washington School of Dentistry, graduating in 2017. She continues to pursue continuing education courses each year and has completed training in sedation dentistry, oral surgery, Invisalign orthodontics and BOTOX®. As a dentist, her goal is to make each patient feel comfortable and at home in the dental office.
She strives to meet her patients’ goals for their smile and oral health, to be gentle when providing care and to achieve excellent results. Dr. McDonald has practiced in the Yakima and Ellensburg area since 2020. Dr. McDonald is a native Washingtonian and is the middle child in her family. When not in the office, she enjoys being outdoors and doing anything active.
CARLA
Registered Dental Hygienist
Carla moved to Ellensburg after being raised in eastern Montana. She attended Carroll College in Helena, Mt. and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dental Hygiene. She likes working in her yard, hiking, snowshoeing, hanging out with her family, and of course dental hygiene! She enjoys getting to know her patients as a "person" and using what she learns about them to help them improve their oral hygiene. She looks forward to being your dental hygienist and hopes she can help you achieve an optimum level of oral health.
MACKENZIE
Registered Dental Hygienist
Mackenzie was born and raised in Ellensburg. After graduating from Ellensburg High School, she pursued her passion for dentistry and received her Dental Hygiene degree from Yakima Valley Community College in 2014. Mackenzie married her high school sweetheart in December 2014 and they welcomed their first child in December of 2017.
She enjoys spending time with her family, visiting the beach, going for walks and working in the garden. She loves getting to know her patients, working alongside a great team and hopes to make everyone's experience at Big Country Family Dental enjoyable.
HANNAH
Registered Dental Hygienist
Hannah grew up on the west side of the mountains but loves the outdoor opportunities and small-town feel of Ellensburg. She received a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Eastern Washington University. She enjoys getting to know her patients on a personal level, while working with them to obtain optimum oral health, and a beautiful smile. In her free time, she can be found outside hiking, riding dirt bikes, waterskiing, camping, fishing, and hunting.
Her goal is an enjoyable dental experience and looks forward to being your hygienist!
KYLIE
Registered Dental Hygienist
Kylie was born and raised in Ellensburg on her family's farm, then completed her dental hygiene schooling at Columbia Basin College in the Tri-Cities. She is a lover of country music and sunshine, and in her free time she enjoys photography, hiking, and spending time with friends and family. Kylie enjoys the opportunity to work with a variety of patients, and loves getting to know them while helping them maintain a healthy and happy smile.
STACEY
Dental Assistant
Stacey was born and raised on a hay farm here in the Kittitas Valley! Stacey started at Big Country Family Dental in the early part of 2020. She has been in the dental field as a dental assistant for over 20 years. Stacey strives to provide quality and compassionate care to all the patients.
Outside the office, Stacey enjoys time with her family which include her husband, Josh and two girls Natalie and Makenzie. In her free time, she loves working in her cut flower garden, hiking and spending time with friends and family.
TIFFANY
Office Manager
Tiffany is the office manager at Big Country Family Dental. She has worked in dentistry for more than 18 years and loves her job! Helping people find ways to improve their smile or overall oral health on a daily basis is very rewarding! She loves the relationships that she has with our patients and truly enjoys them every day. She was born in California but has lived in Ellensburg for most of her life. Together with her husband, they have 3 amazing kids that they love dearly and spend as much time with as possible. In her free time, she can be found attending dirt bike races with her family as well as camping, hiking and traveling.
